• Bundesliga International has signed an agreement with the OTT platform Abema, which will broadcast two Bundesliga games per matchday free-to-air in Japan from 2025-26.
• British esports club Guild Esports & Gaming, in which David Beckham was a shareholder when it was founded in 2019, has announced that it will cease trading on 21/08/2025. "Despite our best efforts, financial challenges and the current economic climate have made it impossible for us to continue operating," said the club, which had listed on the London Stock Exchange in October 2020.
