2025-26 LALIGA EA Sports: 879,000 viewers for Real Oviedo - Real Madrid on DAZN LALIGA

Real Oviedo - Real Madrid CF (0-3), on Matchday 2 of the 2025-26 LALIGA EA Sports season, drew an average of 879,000 viewers on the pay-TV channel DAZN LALIGA in Spain on Sunday 24/08/2025 (kick-off at 21:30 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute Kantar. This figure represented an audience share of 9.3%.

Levante Union Deportiva - FC Barcelona (2-3), another game on Matchday 2, drew 694,000 viewers on the two Movistar LALIGA (Telefonica Group) pay-TV channels that broadcast it (520,000 and 174,000) on Saturday 23/08/2025 (21:30 CET), according to Kantar data. Cumulative audience share: 8.7% (6.5% and 2.2%).

The free-to-air rights to one game per matchday of the competition are now held by DAZN for the 2025-2027 cycle. The platform is reportedly paying an additional €4m per season for these rights held by the audiovisual group Mediapro over the 2022-2025 cycle, according to Spanish media outlet 2Playbook. On each matchday, DAZN will offer either an extra match (broadcast by Movistar) or free coverage of one of the five matches broadcast on its platform.
