Bundesliga: DAZN extends its exclusive TV rights in Canada for a further two seasons (2026-2028)

DAZN has extended its exclusive full broadcasting rights to the Bundesliga in Canada for a further two seasons from 2026-2028, announced the OTT platform on 22/08/2025.

The agreement also includes the 2.Bundesliga and the Franz-Beckenbauer Supercup. DAZN acquired the media rights to these competitions in Canada for the 2023-2026 cycle on 26/06/2023. The rights were previously held by the English-language pay-TV channel Sportsnet (owned by the Canadian media group Rogers Communication).

Bundesliga International, the DFL subsidiary responsible for marketing the media and commercial rights to German professional football, has recently signed a number of agreements for the international broadcasting of the Bundesliga with the platform Abema (Japan, 2025-26), the group United Media (Balkans, Bulgaria, Greece and Cyprus, 2025-2029) and MBC Group (MENA, 2025-2028).
