LFP Media: partnership with Sorare (fantasy league) & Ligue 1 McDonald's integrated into the platform

Sorare, a French start-up specialised in NFTs featuring players and fantasy leagues, has entered into a partnership with LFP Media, "marking the first official collaboration between the platform and the body responsible for developing the Ligue 1 McDonald's and Ligue 2 BKT," announced the Ligue de Football Professionnel on 25/08/2025.

Cards featuring Ligue 1 McDonald's players have been available on the Sorare marketplace since 04/08/2025, "with more than 1.3 million cards already exchanged by 100,000 users," according to the LFP. The agreement with Sorare replaces "Coach Ligue 1", a fantasy league owned, developed and launched by the governing body in March 2024.

"This agreement will enable Sorare to add to its range of games and also raise the brand's profile in France. By taking on the role of a manager, Sorare users will now be able to recruit the best players in the French league, put together their teams of five players and win exceptional rewards in new competitions dedicated to French football fans," explained the French League.
