US Open: La Roche-Posay (L'Oréal) extends as "official sunscreen partner" for 2025-2029

La Roche-Posay, a dermatological laboratory belonging to the French group L'Oréal, has extended its partnership with the US Open (Grand Slam) for a further five editions (2025-2029), announced the group's American subsidiary on 25/08/2025.

Having become the tournament's first "official sunscreen partner" in 2022, the French brand will retain its status as official supplier, the third level in the competition's sponsorship hierarchy.

La Roche-Posay - the "world's third-largest skincare brand" according to the 2024 annual accounts presented by L'Oréal on 06/02/2025 - is activating its partnership around raising "awareness around photoprotection, particularly in a sport where both athletes and spectators are exposed to up to eight times more harmful UV rays due to the hours spent outdoors," said the group, adding that "skin cancer remains the most common cancer in the United States, with 1 in 5 Americans developing skin cancer by the age of 70, yet only 11% of people wear sunscreen daily."
