Tennis: Sportcast (SuperTennis) extends exclusive TV rights to the US Open in Italy until 2030

Sportcast, the company in charge of the free DTT channel SuperTennis, has extended its exclusive rights with the USTA to broadcast the US Open Grand Slam tournament in its entirety in Italy for three additional editions over the 2028-2030 cycle, it announced on 24/08/2025.

Sportcast had obtained these rights in Italy for the 2023-2027 cycle on 21/03/2023. The rights to broadcast the US Open in the country were previously held by the media and entertainment conglomerate Warner Bros. Discovery, which broadcast the tournament via its pay-TV bouquet Eurosport.

This agreement was negotiated by the British agency IMG, which extended its partnership with the USTA for the marketing of domestic and international media rights to the US Open under a new multi-year agreement on 16/04/2025. The USTA and IMG have been working together since 2011.
