Chelsea FC: partnership with EA Sports (video games) extended to the women's team for 2025-26

EA Sports, an American video games publisher belonging to the Electronic Arts group, has extended its partnership with Chelsea FC (Premier League) from 2025-26 and has extended its agreement to include the club's women's team (Barclays Women's Super League), announced the company on 28/08/2025.

This renewed agreement brings the total duration of the partnership to 18 seasons, with the EA Sports FC football video game (formerly known as "FIFA") having been Chelsea's "video gaming partner" since 2008-09. The 2026 edition of the game, due for release on 25/09, will include "the men's and women's first teams, head coaches, club mascots, club stadium, club songs and chants, and more." England international Cole Palmer, who has played as midfielder for Chelsea since the 2023-24 season, is also an ambassador for the EA Sports FC franchise.

In England, the video game publisher is also a partner of three other Premier League clubs (Liverpool FC, Manchester City FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC), as well as an official partner of the English Football League and its OTT platform iFollow over the…
