Facebook: €3.29bn turnover and €476m net profit in Q1 2015

Facebook achieved a turnover of $3.54bn (€3.29bn at the exchange rate on 31/03/2015) in the first quarter of 2015 and a net profit of $512m (€476m), down 25% compared to the first quarter of 2014 ($642m), announced the company on 22/04/2015. Advertising revenues amounted to $3.32bn (€3.09bn), 73% of which was from the mobile application.

Facebook has 798 million daily users on the mobile application, including 936 million average daily active users in March 2015. The company has 1.44 billion monthly users, a figure up 13% compared to the first quarter of 2014.
