2025-26 Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga: Matchday 1 of the German women's top flight from 05 to 08/09/2025

Matchday 1 of the 2025-26 Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga is scheduled from Friday 05 to Monday 08/09/2025, with 14 teams taking part instead of 12 for the first time, in accordance with the decision by the DFB executive board on 23/06/2024.

"With 14 teams instead of 12, there will be four more matchdays in 2025-26 (26 instead of 22) and the number of games per matchday will therefore increase from six to seven. The extra match will generally take place on Sunday, with kick-off at 16:00 (CET)," said the German Football Association.

A normal matchday in the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga in 2025-26 will therefore include:
• one match on Friday (18:30)
• two on Saturday (at 12 noon and 14:00)
• three on Sunday (at 14:00, 16:00 and 18:30)
• one last match on Monday (usually at 18:00)

However, the fixture list (international breaks, DFB-Pokal Frauen) also means that two weekday matchdays (Matchdays 4 and 9) have to be scheduled. The seven games (kick-off between 18:00 and 19:00) will then be split up as follows, according to the DFB:
