France: LFFP creates four complementary labels "to encourage & enhance club initiatives"

These are the "key themes" covered by the four complementary labels created by the Ligue Féminine de Football Professionnel from the 2025-26 season as part of the Club Licence, announced the LFFP on 03/09/2025.

"Each club can apply for one or more of the labels, which will enable it to guide its growth strategy while contributing to the collective structuring of the French women's football championships," explained the League.

"Designed to encourage and enhance the initiatives of clubs in both leagues, this scheme, financially supported by the FFF, will reward the achievement of the labels via a budget shared between the clubs awarded the label," added the LFFP.

• Structuring clubs' sports programmes and encouraging the emergence of young talent.

Promotion & enhancement

• Raising the profile and attractiveness of competitions and players.

Fan experience

• Increasing attendances and improving the welcome and entertainment in stadiums for fans.
