Women's Super League Football: agreement with Nike expanded to supply players with equipment

Nike has become an official partner of the Women's Super League Football competitions (Barclays Women's Super League, Barclays Women's Super League 2 and Subway Women's League Cup) as part of a "new multi-year" agreement from the 2025-26 season, announced the commercial company in charge of organising England's top two women's divisions on 03/09/2025.

The US equipment manufacturer has already been supplying the balls for the three competitions since the 2022-23 season, under an agreement valued at €1m per year. The extended partnership will see Nike supply football boots and goalkeeper gloves to all players who do not have personal sponsorship agreements, to ensure "that every athlete, regardless of contract status, has access to high-performance innovation to compete at their best," said WSL Football. The scheme, which is available to all clubs in the top two divisions, is already being used by 250 players, while for both leagues, the 2025-26 season kicks off on 05/09.
