Sharon Lacey, CEO of Fort Lauderdale United FC (USL Super League, USA) since April 2025 after spending nearly 15 years at Crystal Palace FC (Premier League), is returning to the London club where she has been appointed CEO, announced the club on 05/09/2025. The position had been vacant since 2022 and the departure of Phil Alexander to Bristol City FC (Sky Bet Championship).

The executive joined Crystal Palace in October 2010 as head of marketing, before taking over as director of operations and chief operating officer a few years later.

Sharon Lacey returns to the club to lead the ambitious redevelopment project of the Main Stand at Selhurst Park (24,584 seats), which is entering "a crucial next stage, following the completion of a number of vital enabling works over the summer." The new stand will offer more seats for the general public, new hospitality areas, improved access for people with reduced mobility and a club museum.
