UEFA unveils the four initial projects for its Foundation for Children, created in April 2015

UEFA unveiled, on 01/05/2015, the four initial projects of the "UEFA Children Foundation," which was officially launched on 27/04/2015. These four projects were approved by the board of trustees of the foundation, at its inaugural meeting on 23/03/2015.

"The UEFA Foundation for Children was established on the initiative of the UEFA president, Michel Platini, reflecting the desire of European football’s governing body to play a more active role in society," said the European football confederation.

• The logo of the "UEFA Foundation for Children" will be displayed on the advertising boards around the stadiums that host the semi-finals and finals of the Champions League and Europa League, announced UEFA Union of European Football Associations on 01/05/2015.
• "This partnership between the foundation and the best of European football will, on one hand, give visibility to the new UEFA Foundation for Children and, on the other, remind people of the connection that its activities have with football," said UEFA.
