Ligue 1 McDonald's: RC Lens becomes the first French club to set up a fan advisory board

RC Lens (Ligue 1 McDonald's) has become "the first football club in France" to set up a fan advisory board, it announced on 05/09/2025.

"Inspired by the British and German models" the club intends to create "an internal body that will bring together a representative sample of the Lens public. Its remit will be to strengthen the link between the club and its supporters, to give voice to the diversity of voices at the Bollaert-Delelis (38,223 capacity) and to maintain a lasting and collaborative dialogue on issues relating to supporterism and the life of Racing Club Lens."

The advisory board will meet quarterly from October 2025. The body will have between 18 and 20 members (see composition below) "in order to be as representative as possible of the population of Bollaert-Delelis: traditional associations, expatriate supporters' associations, ultras, families, people with disabilities, men, women, partners of the club." A rapporteur will be responsible for drafting minutes of the meeting, which will be "available for consultation on the various RC Lens channels."
