2026 World Cup: opening of the first ticket sales phase on 10/09/2025 at 17:00 CET

The first ticket sales phase for the 2026 World Cup will open on Wednesday 10/09 at 17:00 CET and close on Friday 19/09/2025 at the same time, announced FIFA, organiser of the tournament, on 03/09/2025.

"Thanks to FIFA's official payment technology partner. (and FIFA's exclusive payment provider during the first ticket sales phase), qualifying Visa cardholders can log in during this window using their FIFA ID to enter the draw (subject to terms and conditions)," explained the world governing body.

"We are excited to launch the first phase of ticket sales for the tournament. This marks a momentous milestone as we build up to this historic event, and we look forward to millions of fans joining us in North America next June," said Heimo Schirgi, chief operating officer for the 2026 World Cup, the first edition with 48 teams (up from 32) and 104 matches (up from 64).
