€980m (€836m) was the amount spent by German clubs on international transfers (men's) between 01/06 and 02/09/2025 (including the special window from 01 to 10/06/2025 introduced to coincide with the Club World Cup), as announced by FIFA on 03/09/2025.

This total, which corresponds to the arrival in the country of 361 players, places Germany in second place among buyers, although far behind England and its $3.19bn (€2.72bn) invested in international transfers, according to figures from the International Federation.

But German clubs collected even more money than they spent by selling 406 players outside Germany, taking in $1.25bn (€1.06bn), or 12.8% of the global total ($9.76bn/€8.34bn), putting them in third place among sellers, behind England ($1.55bn/€1.32bn) and France ($1.27bn/€1.08bn).
