Basketball: EuroLeague Final Four 2026 to be held in Athens for the 2^nd time after the 2007 edition

Athens (Greece) has been awarded the right to host the EuroLeague Final Four 2026, announced Euroleague Basketball on 10/09/2025. The games will be played on 22 (semi-finals) and 24/05 (final) at the Telekom Center (18,300 capacity), for the second time after the 2007 edition. The Greek capital was reportedly preferred to Belgrade (Serbia).

"Greece remains a key market for Euroleague Basketball, with two top-level clubs (Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens and Olympiacos Piraeus) competing annually, an incredibly devoted fan community, and strong appeal as a global tourist destination. Bringing the Final Four back to Athens is a natural decision, one we are confident will deliver another spectacular event," said Dejan Bodiroga, president of Euroleague Basketball.
