LFP: Fabrice Bocquet (OGC Nice), Loïc Féry (FC Lorient) & Waldemar Kita (FC Nantes) elected to the board

Fabrice Bocquet (president of OGC Nice), Waldemar Kita (owner and president of FC Nantes) and Loïc Féry (majority shareholder and president of FC Lorient) have been elected to the board of directors of the Ligue de Football Professionnel as representatives of Ligue 1 McDonald's clubs, announced the LFP following the electronic vote at the French league's general assembly on 10/09/2025.

The three men received 84.75%, 76.68% and 60.09% of the votes cast respectively, thereby filling the three seats vacated by Jean-Pierre Caillot, president of Stade de Reims, whose club was relegated to the Ligue 2 BKT at the end of the 2024-25 season and could therefore no longer represent the top flight, Damien Comolli, former president of Toulouse FC, who has moved to Juventus FC (Serie A Enilive), and Jean-Pierre Rivère, who stepped down as president of OGC Nice in August 2025 (in favour of Fabrice Bocquet). Jean-Michel Roussier, president of Le Havre AC, was also a candidate, but only received 50.67% of the votes.
