Arkema Première Ligue: a record average attendance of 1,730 spectators per match in 2024-25 (+40%)

An average of 1,730 spectators attended Arkema Première Ligue matches in 2024-25, the Ligue Féminine de Football Professionnel told News Tank Football. This is a record and an increase of almost 40% compared to the 2023-24 season (1,274 spectators per match).

This average takes into account the 132 regular season matches as well as the three play-off matches (two semi-finals and one final, compared to a format with two-legged semi-finals when the play-offs were introduced in 2023-24). The average attendance for the regular season was 1,616 spectators per match.

Other figures for the 2024-25 French women's top flight, won by OL Lyonnes, include:
• Four of the top ten attendance figures in the Arkema Première Ligue were recorded in 2024-25, with a peak of 20,489 spectators at the Paris Saint-Germain - OL Lyonnes match (0-2) at the Parc des Princes on 18/01/2025;
• 70 matches were played in premium stadiums usually used by men's first teams (compared with 48 in 2023-24);
