2025-26 LALIGA EA Sports: all you need to know regarding broadcasting in Spain & internationally

Over the 2022-2027 cycle, Movistar Plus+ (Telefonica) and DAZN will each broadcast five LALIGA EA Sports games per matchday of equal choice, on 35 of the 38 matchdays. Three matchdays per season will be broadcast exclusively on Movistar Plus+. These rights were acquired for €4.95bn (an average of €990m per season) on 13/12/2021.

DAZN was also awarded the rights to broadcast one free-to-air game per matchday over the 2025-2027 cycle, on 13/05/2025. The platform will pay an additional €4m per season for these rights, which are held by the audiovisual group Mediapro over the 2022-2025 cycle, according to Spanish media outlet 2Playbook. On each matchday, DAZN will offer either an extra match (broadcast by Movistar) or free coverage of one of the five matches broadcast on its platform.
