2025-26 Bundesliga: all you need to know regarding broadcasting in Germany & internationally

The DFL is starting a new cycle of domestic rights for the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga. DAZN, Sky Deutschland and ProsiebenSat.1 renewed their Bundesliga TV rights for the 2025-2029 cycle for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and the Italian province of South Tyrol on 05/12/2024. The annual value of these rights is €1.121bn, up 2% on 2021-2025 (€1.1bn per year), for a total of €4.484bn over four years.

Sky Deutschland has acquired Lot B (individual Bundesliga matches on Fridays at 20:30 and Saturdays at 15:30, promotion/relegation play-offs, 196 matches per season), Lot C (Saturday matches at 18:30 and Franz Beckenbauer Supercup, 34 matches), Lot F (2.Bundesliga) and Lot G (pay-per-view rights to the 2.Bundesliga match on Saturdays at 20:30).

DAZN was awarded Lot A (Saturday matches at 15:30 including the multiplex, 161 matches per season), held by Sky for 2021-2025, and Lot D (Sunday matches at 15:30, 17:30 and 19:30, 79 matches per season).
