Germany: Dekra (technical inspections) extends its partnership with the Federation until 2018

Dekra, the European leader in the inspections of vehicle and technical systems, extended its partnership with the DFB until 30/06/2018, announced the German Federation on 05/05/2015.

Both parties have been under contract since 2003. The logo of the German company will remain present on the shirt sleeves of the referees during Bundesliga, 2.Bundesliga, 3.Liga, DFB-Pokal and the Frauen-Bundesliga (women's first division) matches. Dekra is also involved in various activities to promote fair play and assist in recruiting referees in Germany. The company will also be represented in the fair play jury of the DFB annual awards.

  • The budget of the DFB was €211m in 2014.
  • The amount of the federation's partnerships is valued at €60m.
