NBA: after Amazon, DAZN acquires TV rights to certain games in Spain from 2025-26

DAZN has acquired the rights to broadcast the NBA in Spain from the 2025-26 season, announced the OTT platform on 15/09/2025.

The streaming service will broadcast the North American league's games in this territory alongside the American group Amazon. Amazon obtained the TV rights to certain games from the basketball league over the 2025-2036 cycle as part of a global agreement signed with the NBA on 24/07/2024. In particular, the group will broadcast 86 regular season games at prime time each season, the play-in games, a third of the play-off games in the first two rounds, a series of conference finals and the NBA finals six years out of eleven.

"DAZN will broadcast a selection of games from the regular season, the play-offs, the conference finals, the All-Star Game and the 2027 finals, as well as highlights and original content," explained the platform, which recently acquired the domestic and international broadcasting rights to the Liga Endesa over the 2025-2030 cycle.
