2025-26 Europa League matches featuring BSC Young Boys (Brack Super League) will once again not be broadcast by Canal+ in France, confirmed the French pay and free-TV group on 15/09/2025.

This broadcast ban is due to the display of a sponsor banned by the DGCCRF: Plus500. The London-based broker has been the Swiss club's main shirt sponsor since the 2020-21 season. As a result, BSC Young Boys' matches versus LOSC Lille (11/12/2025) and Olympique Lyonnais (22/01/2026) will not be broadcast.

Canal+ was also prevented from broadcasting the Swiss club's matches during the league phase of the 2024-25 Champions League. The group acquired the full TV rights to the men's European football cups (Champions League, Europa League, Conference League) for the 2024-2027 cycle, on 29/06/2022. The group acquired these rights for €480m per year (including €450m for the Champions League), according to the French sports daily L'Équipe.
