Amazon: launch of an augmented reality feed to broadcast Champions League matches on Prime Video

For the 2025-26 Champions League broadcast on its Prime Video platform, Amazon has launched the "Prime Vision" feed, which will enable fans to follow the matches in augmented reality in the UK, Italy and Germany, announced the company on 15/09/2025.

This additional stream offered by Prime Video will provide fans with a range of information and statistics in real time:
• a tactical map, making it possible to "watch the game as the coaching staff do and see all 22 player positions in real-time";
• a momentum bar, placed below the tactical map and "which uses an AI model to calculate the probability that either team will score in the next 10 seconds";
• physical insights, to "track and compare the physical output of the players in real-time with insights such as jump height, running speed, shot speed, pass distances and more";
• advanced analytics with "cutting-edge metrics (expected goals, shot quality, expected passes, expected saves, etc.)";
• passing options, "Prime Vision uses a player's positioning, direction and viewing angle to highlight the three most likely passing options";
