2025-26 Champions League: all you need to know regarding broadcasting in France & internationally

The 2025-26 Champions League kicks off with Athletic Club Bilbao (LALIGA EA Sports) - Arsenal FC (Premier League) and PSV Eindhoven (VriendenLoterij Eredivisie) - Union Saint-Gilloise (Jupiler Pro League), broadcast on the pay-TV channels Canal+ Foot and Canal+ Sport respectively in France, on Tuesday 16/09/2025 (kick-off at 18:45 CET).

In France, the pay-TV and free-to-air group Canal+ acquired all the TV rights to the men's European cups (Champions League, Europa League, Conference League) for the 2024-2027 cycle on 29/06/2022, for an annual sum of €480m (including €450m for the Champions League), according to the French sports daily L'Équipe.

The free-to-air rights to the Champions League final over the same period have been acquired by free-TV group M6 for €4m per season, according to L'Équipe.

  • The commercial rights (including media rights) for UEFA Union of European Football Associations 's club competitions have been marketed by Swiss agency TEAM Marketing for the 2024-2027 cycle.
