Real Madrid CF: Emirates extends partnership & becomes main jersey sponsor of the basketball team

Emirates, an Emirates-based airline, has extended its partnership with Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) to become the main shirt sponsor of its basketball team (Liga Endesa) from the 2025-26 season, announced the club on 15/09/2025.

As part of the agreement, the airline will also feature its logo on Real Madrid Baloncesto's training wear and technical staff kits. "The partnership will enhance Emirates' visibility at the Movistar Arena (14,000 capacity), with branding present on the scoreboard, digital signage, hospitality areas, and other communication platforms," said the Madrid club.

Emirates has been the main shirt sponsor of Real Madrid's football teams since 2013-14, having been a global partner (2^nd level) of the Spanish club for the previous two seasons (2011-12 and 2012-13). This agreement, renewed for the 2022-2026 cycle (i.e. four additional seasons) on 14/10/2022, comes with an annual fee of €70m, making it the most lucrative main shirt sponsorship contract in the European Top 5 leagues.
