Poland: adidas remains equipment supplier of the Ekstraklasa until 2016-17

The German equipment manufacturer adidas and Ekstraklasa SA, the company that manages the Polish professional football league, renewed their partnership until the end of the 2016-17 season, announced Ekstraklasa SA on 04/05/2015.

The two sides have been linked since the beginning of the 2014-15 season. adidas remains the supplier of the T-Mobile Ekstraklasa (Polish first division) and provides the official ball of the championship.

  • The prestige of our competition (the Ekstraklasa) is appreciated by our growing number of partners and is also a guarantee of commercial success -- at the end of last year, sales of the adidas branded balls with the T-Mobile Ekstraklasa logo definitely exceeded 100,000," stated Boguslaw Biszof, CEO of Ekstraklasa SA on 05/05/2015.
  • Ekstraklasa SA organises the T-Mobile Ekstraklasa -- the Polish first division -- and the league cup, the super cup and the Ekstraklasa Mloda, a championship reserved for the U-21 teams of Polish first division clubs.
