FC Bayern Munich/Los Angeles FC: partnership between Red&Gold Football and South Korean club Jeju SK FC

The Red&Gold Football joint venture, created by FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) and Los Angeles FC (MLS) in March 2023, has entered into a partnership with Jeju SK FC (K League 1), announced the parties on 14/09/2025.

"Red&Gold Football will provide Jeju SK FC a regular exchange of coaching expertise and training methods, with plans to introduce a proprietary scouting system to the club. Young players from Jeju will have the opportunity to train regularly in Europe and the United States, participate in international tournaments, and showcase their talents at the highest level."

"Jeju SK FC is owned by the SK Group, South Korea’s second-largest conglomerate," said Red&Gold Football. The joint venture is involved with three clubs, as it is already a majority shareholder in Racing de Montevideo (Uruguay) and a partner of the Gambinos Stars Africa academy (Gambia).

• Ja-Cheol Koo, a former professional Bundesliga player (FC Augsburg, FSV Mainz 05 and VfL Wolfsburg) will lead the Red&Gold Football programme in South Korea.
