La Liga: Malaga negotiating with a Chinese company to replace UNESCO on their shirt

Malaga CF (Liga BBVA) is negotiating with a Chinese company to replace UNESCO as their shirt partner, announced Vicente Casado, the general director of the club, to the Andalusian newspaper Sur, on 30/04/2015. The UNESCO logo has been present on the centre of the shirt of the "Boquerones" since 2011.

"We met with Chinese businessmen for three months, negotiating mainly with one company," said Vicente Casado, adding that the club, which is owned by Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, a member of the royal family of Qatar, is not looking for investors to acquire all or part of the club and that the "debt is now less than €30m."
