World Rugby: launch of the process to select the host country for the Men's Rugby World Cup 2035

"World Rugby today launched the process for the selection of the host nation(s) for Men's Rugby World Cup 2035, kicking off in October 2025 with expressions of interest and culminating in final appointment by November 2027," announced the world governing body on 24/09/2025, on the occasion of its 17^th general assembly, held in London (ENG) on the sidelines of the Women's World Cup 2025 held in England.

Bids for this 13^th edition will have to be submitted in the third quarter of 2026. World Rugby will then carry out site visits and feasibility studies between late 2026 and early 2027.
