• Australian John Coates, born on 07/05/1950, a member of the Court of Arbitration for Sport and the International Council of Arbitration for Sport (ICAS) since 1994 and president of both bodies since 2010, "announced his decision to step down as president of ICAS and CAS with immediate effect for health reasons" on 29/09/2025.

• Massimo Sessa, an Italian engineer born on 22/06/1962, has been appointed "extraordinary commissioner for Euro 2032 stadiums" by Andrea Abodi, the Italian Minister for Sport and Youth, on 26/09/2025.

• Jörn Stobbe has been elected president of 1. FC Köln (Bundesliga) for a three-year term (2025-2028) at the club's general meeting on 27/09/2025, announced the club the same day. Stobbe succeeds Werner Wolf, president since 2019, who did not stand for re-election.
