FC Barcelona: a positive ordinary result of €2m & a net loss of €17m in 2024-25

FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) posted a net loss of €17m at the end of the 2024-25 financial year (from 01/07/2024 to 30/06/2025), announced the club following a meeting of its board of directors on 30/09/2025.

Although the club recorded a positive ordinary result of €2m, which was adversely affected by "extraordinary items", the nature of which was not specified. The provisional budget for 2024-25 adopted by the club's members on 19/10/2024 was based on a current profit of €5m for this financial year.

"These results mean the gradual financial recovery of the institution continues, particularly notable given the restriction on income while the redevelopment of the new Spotify Camp Nou continues. The board of directors presented a budget with a consolidated profit of €4m after tax for the 2025-26 season, with the goal to keep achieving a profit for a third consecutive year. New records for sponsorship and merchandising income are expected for this season, as well as income from the gradual return to the Spotify Camp Nou," said the Catalan club.
