Under Armour: €720m in turnover in Q1 2015, 25% increase on Q1 2014

The American sporting goods company Under Armour reported a turnover of $805m (€720m on 11/05/2015) for the first quarter of 2015, an increase of 25.6% compared to the first quarter of 2014 ($641m/€570m), announced the sporting goods manufacturer on 21/04/2015.

Sales in North America accounted for $700m (€627m) of the turnover for the American brand, 86.9% of the total in the first quarter of 2015, and an increase of 20.2% compared to the first quarter of 2014 ($582m / €521m). Outside of North America, the American group generated $95m (€85m, 11.8% of the total in revenue), an increase of 74.2% compared to the first quarter of 2014 ($55m/€49.2m).

The net profit of Under Armour came to $11.7m (€10.47m) in the first quarter of 2015, down 13.3% compared to the first quarter of 2014 ($13.5m/€12.08m).
