FIFA: 21,633 cases dealt with by the Football Tribunal in 2024-25, a new record (+10.4%)

"In the period covered by the report (between 01/07/2024 and 30/06/2025), the Football Tribunal processed an unprecedented volume of claims and regulatory applications - 21,633 in total - surpassing the previous year's figures (19,589, i.e. +10.4% in 2024-25) and reflecting the continued trust in FIFA's dispute resolution system," stated the International Federation, which published the Football Tribunal's fourth annual report (document available to download) on 30/09/2025.

Established on 01/10/2021, the Football Tribunal is designed "to consolidate the existing FIFA decision-making bodies into a single umbrella body."

"The report also marks the one-year anniversary of the relocation of FIFA's Legal & Compliance Division to Miami, United States. This new chapter has reinforced FIFA's commitment to being present in all regions of the world, with the Football Tribunal continuing to provide high-quality services to all parties across the globe," said the world body.
