Athletic Club Bilbao: a turnover of €172.5m (+27%) & net profit of €7m in 2024-25

Athletic Club Bilbao (LALIGA EA Sports) posted a turnover of €172.5m at the end of the 2024-25 financial year (from 01/07/2024 to 30/06/2025), up 27% on 2023-24 (€134.9m), according to the annual financial statement (unaudited) approved by the club's board of directors on 29/09/2025.

"This increase in turnover is mainly explained by two factors: income from European competitions and the increase in commercial revenue," explained the club, which was eliminated in the semi-finals of the 2024-25 Europa League after not taking part in any UEFA competitions in 2023-24.

The Basque club posted an operating profit of €19.9m (-€6.6m in 2023-24) and a net profit of €7m, the first without recourse to provisions since 2019-20. Athletic Club Bilbao reported a breakeven result in 2023-24 thanks to €14.2m in provisions.

The club has also forecast a turnover of €186m, an operating profit of €30.7m and a net profit of €10m in 2025-26.
