Liga Portugal: record revenues of €29.8m & an operating profit of €230,000 in 2024-25

The Liga Portugal accounts for the 2024-25 financial year, which include an operating profit of €230,000 (€2.6m in 2023-24), were approved (25 votes in favour, two abstentions) by its general assembly, announced the League on 30/09/2025. This is the 10^th consecutive year of profit for Liga Portugal.

Liga Portugal also posted record revenues of €29.8m in 2024-25, up from €29m 12 months earlier. The League's 2024-25 financial year was conducted under the leadership of two presidents: Pedro Proença, who held the position from 2015 until his departure to become president of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) in February 2025, and Reinaldo Teixeira, who succeeded him in April 2025.

The Liga Portugal's 2024-25 Activity Report and Accounts "is the first to reflect the impact of the investment in the organisation's headquarters, the Arena Liga Portugal, namely the commitments associated with its financing and overall cost, as well as the expenses related to its operation and maintenance," added the League.
