Third party ownership: "Project TPO" KPMG Europe LLP report published on 08/08/2013

The Spanish office of the audit firm KPMG Europe LLP published the "Project TPO", a report on the ownership of players by third parties, conducted for the ECA, on 08/08/2013.

The shares in the sports rights of players held by investment companies account for €1.1bn, 5.7% of the value of the European transfer market, says the report, according to which third party ownership of players covered full or part of the transfer rights of 1,100 players currently playing in Europe.
