Spain: La Liga call on "the competent authorities" for disciplinary action against the Federation

The assembly of La Liga, meeting in Madrid (ESP) on 11/05/2015, said that the strike called by the RFEF and the AFE as of 16/05/2015 is illegal and contrary to the various co-operation agreements concluded between the Spanish league, the federation and the Spanish players' association.

The presidents of clubs in the Liga BBVA and the Liga Adelante reaffirmed their support of the royal decree of 30/04/2015, which allows for the collective sale of audiovisual rights to the Spanish professional competitions from 2016-17 (La Liga will be in charge of TV rights to the Liga BBVA and the Liga Adelante, the RFEF will be in charge of those for the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup). La Liga calls on "the competent authorities" to take disciplinary action against the RFEF and announced legal action against the players' union.

The Spanish domestic competitions from 16/05/2015:

• Liga BBVA: Matchdays 37 (16/05/2015) and 38 (23/05/2015)
• Liga Adelante: Matchdays 38-42, and then the promotion playoffs
