AS Saint-Étienne: a solidarity race to tackle student poverty on 16/10/2025

AS Saint-Étienne (Ligue 2 BKT), via its cultural label Steph’ and in collaboration with the association Délivraide, have organised a solidarity race to combat student poverty on Thursday 16/10 at 18:30, announced the club on 10/10/2025.

"AS Saint-Étienne is responding to a call from the Ligue de Football Professionnel to show solidarity with students in precarious situations during Matchday 8 in the Ligue 1 McDonald's (from 17 to 19/10) and Matchday 10 in the Ligue 2 BKT (from 17 to 20/10)," said the club.

Participants will need to have dropped off "at least one food item at the Délivraide stand set up for the occasion". There will be 5 and 8km runs, as well as "free refreshments and music after the run at the Six Nations (bar)."

AS Saint-Étienne's support for the fight against student poverty will also be deployed via:
• visibility given to Délivraide on social media and at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard;
• the delivery of foodstuffs to students by Groupe Casino, "a long-standing partner" of AS Saint-Étienne;
