Poland: 2015-2019 Internet & mobile rights to Ekstraklasa awarded to Onet & Ringier Axel Springer

Ekstraklasa SA, the company that manages the Polish professional football league, has awarded the rights to broadcast clips and summaries from T-Mobile Ekstraklasa (the Polish first division) matches on the Internet, mobile platforms and connected TVs to the Polish media group Onet.pl and the Swiss media group Ringier Axel Springer Media AG, on 11/05/2015. The rights cover the 2015-2019 period, the next four seasons, and are valid on both the domestic and abroad markets.

No amount was disclosed. This was the first batch of media rights to the T-Mobile Ekstraklasa marketed by the MP & Silva agency, which became the media advisor of the Polish League for the 2015-2021 period on 04/09/2014. Clips and summaries of T-Mobile Ekstraklasa matches are offered by the web TV and mobile application Ekstraklasa.TV, which has been managed by Onet.pl and Ringier Axel Springer Media since 2014-15. Both companies and Ekstraklasa SA are co-shareholders of Ekstraklasa.TV.
