Premier League: 1.45 billion cumulative viewers & 1.9 billion engagements in 2024-25

1.45 billion cumulative viewers for the 380 Premier League matches and a total of 1.9 billion engagements recorded on social networks are two of the main figures from the English League's Annual Report on the 2024-25 season, published on 13/10/2025.

Among the other figures in the document, which looks back at the 2024-25 sporting season as well as at governance, ESG actions, club regulation and attendances:
• 2.5 million beneficiaries of programmes from the Premier League Charitable Fund;
• 45.6 million users engaged on average each week on social media;
• 925,000 illegal videos removed from social media;
• 585,000 illegal live streams blocked in the United Kingdom.

The Premier League also highlighted a study conducted by consulting firm EY in 2025 on the impact of the league and its clubs on the local economy in 2023-24. The clubs generated £9.8bn (€11.4bn) in added value for the British economy, 60% of which came from non-London clubs, as well as £4.4bn (€5bn) in tax contributions, of which £2.1bn (€2.4bn) came from contributions related to players and technical teams.
