DAZN: Rebecca McCloy (Foxtel) to replace Marc Watson as chief commercial officer from 01/11/2025

Rebecca McCloy will become chief commercial officer of DAZN Group from 01/11/2025, announced the British OTT sports platform on 22/10/2025.

The Australian joins DAZN "from Foxtel Group (pay-TV) in Australia, where she has led commercial content acquisitions and partnerships for the company for the past 12 years. During her time at Foxtel Group, she helped consolidate its position as Australia's home of sport with more than 50 of the biggest domestic and international sports available to its four million subscribers," said DAZN, which acquired the Australian group for $2.2bn (€2.1bn) in December 2024.

Rebecca McCloy "will oversee global rights and acquisitions at DAZN, working with local teams to fuel business growth through commercial initiatives that drive fan engagement."

McCloy will succeed Marc Watson, who took up the position of chief commercial officer in February 2023. Watson will move "to a newly created role on DAZN's executive team, supporting CEO Shay Segev, on strategic initiatives."
