• The Spanish Supreme Court has rejected the appeal filed by the RFEF and "upheld the ruling declaring unfair the actions (of the Federation) aimed at preventing LALIGA from scheduling matches on Mondays and Fridays," announced the Spanish League on 24/10/2025. The proceedings were launched in 2019, when Luis Rubiales was still president of the RFEF.
• Sporting Clube de Portugal (Liga Portugal Betclic) has launched a €225m bond issue for the renovation of the Estádio José Alvalade (Lisbon, POR).
• Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's) and its main partner Qatar Airways have inaugurated a completely renovated public sports ground in the club's colours in Tremblay-en-France (Seine-Saint-Denis).
• The EBU has extended its agreement with FIFA and obtained the media rights for the 2026 and 2030 World Cups for Malta, Iceland and Azerbaijan. The Union had already acquired the TV rights to the 2026 and 2030 World Cups for five territories (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia and Hungary for the two competitions, and Israel for the 2026 World Cup) on 28/10/2024.
