Ice Hockey: Thalys (transport) becomes a partner of the 2017 World Championships in Paris & Cologne

The rail transport company Thalys International has become an official partner of the Ice Hockey World championships that will be hosted in Paris (FRA) and Cologne (or Köln, GER) from 05/05 to 21/05/2017, announced the IIHF (International Ice Hockey Federation), on 11/05/2015. The contract was concluded with the Infront Sports & Media agency.

Thalys will provide a unique connection with its long distance trains for the organisers, officials and national teams between the two host cities during the preparation phases and competition. Thalys trains take 3 hours and 14 minutes to travel from Paris to Cologne.

• The contract was signed during the 2015 Ice Hockey World Championship, taking place in Prague and Ostrava (Czech Republic) from 01/05 to 05/17/2015.
