Spain: audience, user & advertising records for DAZN during El Clásico on 26/10/2025

El Clásico between Real Madrid CF and FC Barcelona (2-1) on Matchday 10 of the 2025-26 LALIGA EA Sports season on 26/10/2025 has become "the most-watched event in DAZN's history in Spain," announced the British OTT platform on 28/10/2025.

The match, which drew an average of 2.277 million viewers on the pay-TV channel DAZN LALIGA in Spain according to data from the audience measurement institute Kantar, for an audience share of 21.8%, generated an audience on the platform "24% higher than the same match last season (without taking into account the additional audience on DAZN's linear channels available from telecoms operators and other partners)," according to the group.

Sunday 26/10 was also "the day with the highest number of users and highest consumption of DAZN content in Spain, exceeding 3.1 million hours played." This result was made possible by El Clásico as well as other events such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Mexico, the MotoGP race in Malaysia and other LALIGA EA Sports and LALIGA Hypermotion matches.
