SporTech: a crowdfunding campaign launched by Footbar (performance sensors) with a target of €300,000

Footbar, a startup created in 2014 offering performance sensors linked to an app to measure individual player statistics in matches or training, launched a crowdfunding campaign on 28/10/2025.

This crowdfunding initiative, which has already raised €95,375 from 63 investors as of 29/10/2025, is being carried out via the Crowdcube platform. Investors can purchase Footbar shares with offers ranging from €125 to €50,000, each giving access to additional rewards.

The campaign, which will run for three weeks, is mainly aimed at individuals who are already familiar with Footbar. Although the start-up had set itself a minimum target of €100,000, it hopes to reach €300,000, News Tank Football has learned.

Footbar hopes to develop three areas with these new resources:
• further improve the detection of footballers' movements and the reliability of the data;
• lower production costs;
• promote international development, with particular emphasis on North America.
