Milano Cortina 2026: over 850,000 tickets sold out of a total of 1.4 million (60.7%) with 100 days to go

"We're very satisfied, even if the last 100 days are the most important. We've already sold more than 850,000 tickets out of a total of 1.4 million for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. We are ahead of our forecasts for this date," said Andrea Varnier, CEO of the Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation, which is organising the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Italy on 29/10/2025.

"There are no more tickets for many sessions. We're about to enter the final sales phase, which is decisive for achieving our objectives: we know that the winter preceding the Games is a crucial period," added Varnier on the 100^th day before the opening ceremony of the Games, which will take place at the San Siro in Milan (Lombardy, ITA) on 06/02/2026.

"All the worksites are progressing, but while some installations have been completed, others will take a few more weeks. The facility that needs to be rushed is the new Arena in Milan's Santa Giulia district, which will host men's ice hockey matches.
