UEFA: 3^rd "Champions Innovate" programme, in partnership with the Hungarian Football Federation

UEFA has launched the third edition of its "Champions Innovate" programme, in partnership with the Hungarian Football Federation (MLSZ), to "ensure a lasting and positive impact" for the benefit of Budapest, host city of the 2025-26 Champions League final on 30/10/2025.

Piloted by the UEFA Innovation Hub, this initiative consists of four calls for projects open until 30/11/2025 to structures wishing to collaborate with the European Confederation and the MLSZ in order to carry out projects dedicated to the development of amateur football in Hungary, in line with the Federation's 2025-2030 strategic plan in this area.

The solutions being sought are aimed at meeting the following four "challenges":
• Engaging parents "so they model positive behaviours, encourage participation, and create supportive football environments";
• Equipping coaches with the means "to go beyond technical skills, model positive behaviours, and keep players engaged";
• Attracting, motivating and retaining volunteers;
• Increasing the number of female "players, coaches, referees, administrators, and leaders."
