UEFA: Groupama Stadium, Parc des Princes & Decathlon Arena bid to host European finals

The Groupama Stadium (Décines-Charpieu, Rhône), the Parc des Princes (Paris) and the Decathlon Arena - Stade Pierre-Mauroy (Villeneuve-d'Ascq, Nord) are among the 20 stadiums bidding to host one or more UEFA club competition finals for the 2027-28 and 2028-29 seasons, according to a press release from the European Confederation, which on 31/10/2025 presented the various stadiums for which the 15 corresponding national federations had submitted a declaration of interest.

• The Groupama Stadium (59,186 capacity) and the Parc des Princes (47,929 capacity) would like to host either the 2027-28 or the 2028-29 Europa League final (each of these two stadiums will bid for just one final and the allocation will be confirmed before the bid file is submitted).
• The Decathlon Arena - Stade Pierre-Mauroy (50,156 capacity) is bidding to host one of the two Conference League finals.
• Olympique Lyonnais' (Ligue 1 McDonald's / Arkema Première Ligue) stadium is also bidding to host one of the two Women's Champions League finals.
